Dinosaur Jigsaw Puzzles

My son is insane Dinosaur mode.  It’s the only thing he is interested in and he can manage to somehow relate most things in his life to dinosaurs.  It’s really quite impressive.  One of his favorite things to do is put together dinosaur jigsaw puzzles.  We have gotten quite a few dinosaur puzzles over the years, some that we bought and some that have been given to us as a gift.   Most of them have been pretty cool and held his interest but there are certain dinosaur jigsaw puzzles that have become his favorites.  In this post, we are going to try to identify the best dinosaur jigsaw puzzles available and tell you where you can get them.

My 5 year old is past the 12 piece puzzle mark but this was one of the first jigsaw puzzles he ever got and he wore it out. The box includes 4 different dinosaur jigsaw puzzles in 4 separate compartments.  It’s easy to store and gives them some nice variety to play with as they learn how these jigsaw puzzles work. 	Melissa & Doug Dinosaurs 48 pcs Floor Puzzle Available From: Amazon # of Pieces: 48 Pieces Price: $12.99 This is the dinosaur jigsaw puzzle that Harrison plays with the most. He likes it mostly for the size and it has most of his favorite dinosaurs on it. He has created his own version of chutes and ladders that he plays on this puzzle using some of his small dinosaur figures as the game pieces. The rules tend to vary as we play with him but I love that he has such a great imagination. You can buy it here.
	Ravensburger Dinosaur Times Puzzle Available From: Amazon # of Pieces: 60 Pieces Price: $9.99 Ravensburger is famous for making jigsaw puzzles. They are located in Germany and have making jigsaw puzzles since the late 1800′s. This dinosaur puzzle is for kids 4 and up and depicts a scene sure to inspire and excite dinosaur loving kids. When Harrison isn’t putting together his giant dinosaur floor puzzle, this is one of the dinosaur jigsaw puzzles he goes for the most. You can buy it here.
